When you release music as an independent artist, there's a moment of vulnerability. You put your work out into the world, and you wait.
Back to the Arcade released April 27, 2026. In the months since, the feedback has been overwhelming. Not in volume necessarily—though we've had thousands of listeners—but in meaning.
This post celebrates the people who've engaged with the music, left comments, sent messages, and shared their own stories about what Back to the Arcade means to them.
We've received feedback from listeners across 33 countries. Radio DJs who spun our tracks and asked for more. Listeners who presaved the album and came back to tell us it changed their day. Curators who added our tracks to playlists and invited collaboration.
Some of the feedback we've received:
“I didn't know synthwave could feel this emotional. I've been looping Satellite for two weeks straight.”
“Your production is insanely clean. This is how synthwave should sound in 2026.”
“I played this for my partner and she's obsessed. Thank you for making music that brings people together.”
“An Ocean Drive is the song I needed to hear right now. Perfect timing.”
“The behind-the-scenes production content makes me respect artists so much more. Keep sharing this.”
“I've shared your music with everyone I know. You deserve way more listeners.”
These aren't just compliments. They're evidence of connection. Someone took time to write these. They felt something and wanted us to know. That's everything.
Feedback from Radio DJs: “I added your track to our show and our listeners loved it. They've been requesting more.” DJs listen as professionals. Their feedback is detailed and actionable.
Some feedback transcends a nice compliment and becomes a story:
A listener from Turkey wrote: “I discovered you through radio. I've been in a difficult time emotionally. Your music helped. I shared it with my sister. Now she listens too. Thank you for existing.”
A producer from Germany said: “I'm studying your track production. You've influenced my workflow. I'm better because of your music.”
A high school student shared: “I'm learning music production. Your behind-the-scenes content is my curriculum. Thank you for teaching.”
A fan from Brazil: “Back to the Arcade is the soundtrack to my summer. I've recommended it to 50+ people. Changing lives over here.”
These aren't generic praise. These are people whose lives are different because of the music. That's the real metric of success.
We're now at a point where Back to the Arcade has 2.5M+ plays, radio presence in 33 countries with 80+ stations, growing email list from presave campaigns, and strong community on Instagram and TikTok. None of this happens without listener feedback and engagement.
If you've listened to Back to the Arcade, presaved, commented, shared with a friend, added to a playlist, watched a YouTube video, or followed on Instagram or TikTok—Thank you.
You're not just numbers. Your engagement is the reason this music exists and continues. The feedback matters. Next projects come because of you.
