Fabian Starr is an independent electronic music composer and producer with over 30 years of professional songwriting, live performance, and film/television scoring experience. Based between Los Angeles and Charlotte, NC, Fabian specializes in synthwave, nu-disco, and electronic dance music—crafting immersive sonic experiences that bridge the gap between club culture and cinematic storytelling.
As a classically trained songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Fabian has spent three decades composing original music across live venues, film productions, and television broadcasts. His work in electronic music production draws from authentic warehouse and club culture experience, including early work as a lighting and sound technician at Charleston's legendary Arcade Club during the Hi-NRG explosion of the 1990s.
This deep understanding of what moves a dance floor—combined with meticulous songwriting craft—informs every track Fabian creates. Whether producing a 6-minute club journey or a 30-second film cue, the priority is always the same: emotional authenticity, technical excellence, and respect for the listener's time and attention.
